PURPOSE: A cooling system of an LCD device is provided to efficiently emit heat absorbed by a thermoelectric device by changing a phase of heat transfer liquid. CONSTITUTION: A backlight unit(130) is arranged in the rear part of a liquid crystal panel. A drive circuit unit(140) is arranged in the rear part of the backlight unit. A case(110) comprises a front case with an opening for exposing the liquid crystal panel and a rear case with a concave part. A thermoelectric device(150) is attached to the inner side of the rear case. A heat absorbing unit faces the drive circuit unit. A heat absorbing pad(161) is attached to a location corresponding to the attached location of the thermoelectric device on the external surface of the rear case. |
