The circuit has an electric motor (16) i.e. alternating-current motor, switched upon reaching a preset loading pressure of a hydraulic accumulator (1), and drives a pump (4). A rotational speed of the motor is controllable. A frequency converter (28) is connected upstream to the motor, and controls the rotational speed of the motor. The pump is fluidically connected with the accumulator by loading lines (2a-2d). A high pressure line (6) to a consumer (8) is branched off from the loading lines. A switching pressure of a pressure switch (24) is adjustable by pre-tensioning of a spring (30). An independent claim is also included for a method for loading a hydraulic accumulator of a storage circuit.
