The method involves producing a decorative part by multi-dimensional detection of a multi-dimensional object (1) e.g. animal, plant and human being, to generate object data. The decorative part is produced based on the object data, so that an image of the detected object is formed. The decorative part is connected with a base part. The object data is processed to different forms, and a positive model is produced from the processed object data. A casting mold (6) is produced from the positive model. A jewelry material e.g. gold alloy, is reduced into a fluid state to form the decorative part.
