<p>A method for inter-layer path computation is provided to implement the discovery and computation of the inter-layer path. The method includes: the Label Switching Router (LSR) of the present layer selects, according to received discovery information of each Path Computation Element (PCE), a PCE of the present layer, and sends to the PCE a path computation request related to the LSR, wherein, the discovery information includes: indication information for indicating whether the PCE can act as a default inter-layer PCE of the layer, and inter-layer information for indicating the layer on which the present PCE is located and the neighbor layers; when the path related to the LSR is disconnected, a PCE of the next layer is selected based on the inter-layer information, and a path computation request related to the disconnected part of the path is sent to the PCE until the path is connected; the path computation result is transmitted to the PCE of the present layer as a response.</p> |
