PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin-plate electromagnetic wave shielding material where an electromagnetic shield state is maintained, without fail, even in a complex external surface portion as a connector of a wire harness, and the like. SOLUTION: The thin-plate electromagnetic shielding material includes a conductive thin film 3, on which at least one type or more of metal selected from among conductive metal materials such as gold, silver, copper, aluminum and tin are deposited with a metal thickness of 10-500 nm on one surface or both of a film-shaped support 2 comprising a polymer material whose thickness is 10-200μm. The thin plate-shaped electromagnetic wave shielding material has a configuration such that the width is 0.1-1.0 mm, the length is 100 mm or more, elastic modulus is 2-4 GPa, coefficient of static friction is 0.2-0.7, and the straightness is 1-60μm.
