PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element and an evaluation method of the organic electroluminescent element of which light emission efficiency is improved and durability is also improved. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent element includes an organic layer having at least a light emission layer between a positive electrode and a negative electrode. When the number of approximate arc parts in which a maximum value of an imaginary part M'' in an M-plot obtained by applying a voltage lower than a light emission start voltage to the organic electroluminescent element and measuring in a frequency range 0.1mHz-1 MHz by impedance spectroscopy is 0.7 nF<SP>-1</SP>, and the number of layers of the organic layer (except for a p-type doped layer and n-type doped layer) is n, an expression; n>m is satisfied.
