PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for providing a route most suitable for a user or a situation in route search by searching the optimal route by conversion of all costs including time in terms of money, and changing a unit price per time for the conversion in terms of money, based on a discount rate and permitted rest time. SOLUTION: The route search device has: a condition receiving means 20 for a receiving search condition such as a destination; an allowance setting means 40 for receiving setting of an allowed rest time; a linear distance calculation means 30 for calculating a linear distance between a start point and the destination; a unit price calculation means 50 for calculating a unit price per time at which the total cost in the case that an allowed rest time is included in a required time and a discount is applied, and the total cost in the case with no rest and discount substantially balance out, based on the linear distance, the allowed rest time, and discount data; and a route calculation means 60 for searching and calculating an optimal route by converting the cost into a price using the unit price per time, regarding respective routes including a route to which the discount is applied by incorporating a rest not longer than the allowed rest time, and comparing the prices.
