PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic exhibiting aging-preventing effects excelling in the amelioration of tenseness and the sustainment of moistness, and having comfortable sense of use. SOLUTION: The aging-preventing cosmetic contains the following components (A) to (D): (A) a solvent extract of one or more kinds of plants selected from leaves of Alpinia zerumbet, Gentiana lutea, leaves of licorice, leaves of Olea europaea and Paeonia lactiflora, and having collagen production-promoting activities; (B) a solvent extract of one or more kinds of plants selected from Eucalyptus, Tilia miqueliana, Belamcanda chinensis, leaves of Vitis spp., leaves of Eriobotrya japonica and Geranium robertianum L., and having collagen degradation-inhibiting activities; and (C) a cellulose-based macromolecular compound.
