PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip device, which has no problems of fly of iron powder and noise, and in which a tenter clip opens and closes stably even in high-speed driving. SOLUTION: A head (20) of a clip lever (16) of the tenter clip (5) is constituted by a magnetic material. A clip closer (8) and a clip opener (9) are constituted of a plurality of magnets (21, 22, ...) arranged leaving a predetermined gap outside a rotational trajectory of the head (20). The plurality of magnets are arranged in mutually adjacent first and second lines (46, 47) along the running direction of the tenter clip (5). The magnet of the first line (46) is arranged such that the south pole is directed downward and the magnet of the second line (47) is arranged such that the north pole is directed downward.
