COMBINATION TYPE APPARATUS FOR WELDING AND WELDING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A hybrid welding apparatus and welding method using the same are provided to improve working efficiency since cutting and welding processes are performed in a single device. CONSTITUTION: A hybrid welding apparatus comprises a guide beam(110), a cutter head(130), a welding head(140), a first cutter(131), a second cutter(141), and a welding machine(142). A leading steel plate(1) and a trailing steel plate pass below the guide beam. The cutting head and the welding head are mounted on the guide beam. The first cutter cuts the end of one between the leading steel plate and the trailing steel plate before welding and cuts one end of the welded part after welding. The second cutter cuts the end of the other one between the leading steel plate and the trailing steel plate before welding and cuts the other end of the welded part after welding. The welding machine welds both cut ends of the trailing steel plate and the leading steel plate.
