<p>A method for manufacturing a glass gob and a method for manufacturing a molded glass body, capable of sufficiently minimizing the occurrence of recesses without largely degrading the surface roughness, and configured in such a manner that a variation in the position at which a lower die receives a molten glass droplet is small. A through-hole member having a through-hole for allowing a molten glass droplet to pass therethrough is disposed in such a manner that the through-hole is located above a lower die. The molten glass droplet entering from the upper opening of the through-hole is caused to make contact with the side surface of the through-hole, and after that, the entire amount of the molten glass droplet is dropped downward from the lower opening of the through-hole and received by the lower die.</p> |
