<p>A processing method and system when handover occurs during a location service process in a long term evolution network are disclosed in the prevent invention. In the solution of the prevent invention, during initiating a location service request, and when determining that a UE (User Equipment) needs to perform handover, an eNB (evolved NodeB) sends a location control signaling with a termination location request to an E-SMLC (Evolved-Serving Mobile Location Center); after receiving the location control signaling with the termination location request, the E-SMLC indicates the eNB or the UE to terminate the location process; or after sending a location service request to an E-SMLC, and if determining that a UE occurs handover when not receiving a location service response, an eNB or an MME (Mobile Management Entity) notifies the E-SMLC that the UE occurs handover, and the E-SMLC indicates the eNB or the UE to terminate the location process. According to the solution of the prevent invention, it is possible to terminate a location process in time, so as to avoid wasting the location resources.</p> |
