PURPOSE: An elevator of based on laser communication is provided to implement communication between a control panel and an elevator car using laser beam instead of cables, thereby reducing cost and improving the durability. CONSTITUTION: An elevator of based on laser communication comprises an elevator car(10) and a control panel(20). The elevator car comprises a controller(11), a transmission unit(12), a receiving unit(13), a key-operation unit(14), and a display unit(15). The controller of the elevator car converts a command input through the key-operation unit into control frequency and the transmission unit projects a laser beam(31) including a control signal. The control panel comprises a controller(21), a receiving unit(22), a transmission unit(23), a winding machine(70), and a sensor(80). The receiving unit of the control panel receives the control signal from the elevator car and the controller controls the winding machine according to the control signal.
