POWER GENERATION SYSTEM UTILIZING ALKALINE FUEL CELL, AND FUEL GAS FOR ALKALINE FUEL CELL FOR USE IN THE SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a higher output in an alkaline fuel cell that utilizes an electrolyte membrane composed of an anion exchange membrane, as compared to a conventional alkaline fuel cell.

SOLUTION: The power generation system utilizes the alkaline fuel cell that includes the electrolyte membrane composed of the anion exchange membrane and an anode and a cathode as a pair of electrodes arranged on both sides of the electrolyte membrane, wherein hydrogen gas containing a basic compound such as ammonia is used as fuel gas supplied to an anode side in an operation method of the alkaline fuel cell which can generate electric power when fuel gas is supplied to an anode side and oxidizer gas is supplied to a cathode side respectively.
