<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing aseptic packed foods, by which pressurized steam can smoothly be applied even to food materials received in the deep portions and corners of containers to uniformly and effectively sterilize all of the contents. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the aseptic packed foods comprises conveying a bucket 3 having mesh-like receiving chambers 3a for receiving foods along an upper horizontal conveyance route T1 in a state that the receiving chambers are upward opened, simultaneously covering the receiving chambers of the bucket with trays 1, sterilizing the foods received in the receiving chambers and the trays with a sterilizing device 40, then inverting the bucket along an inverting conveyance route T2 to transfer the sterilized foods in the bucket-receiving chambers to the trays to give food-received trays 1', and then transferring the food-received trays 1' from the buckets return-conveyed with the roller chain 20 to a bar conveyer 30 with an elevator 25.
