<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for supporting inventory clearance by determining an owner of external connection equipment 6 to be used by a computer terminal, without imposing limitations on user or available terminal in advance. <P>SOLUTION: A management server acquires, from a terminal connected to a network for use, mount information showing whether external connection equipment has been mounted on or unmounted from the terminal, and generates use information in which specific external connection equipment is associated with the terminal using the external connection equipment, from the acquired mount information.
