<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic system and method for providing a plurality of slice images for measuring an NT (Nuchal Translucency) thickness of a fetus. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic system includes: an ultrasonic data acquisition part for transmitting ultrasonic signals to a subject, receiving ultrasonic echo signals reflected from the subject and acquiring ultrasonic data; and a processor for forming volume data by using the ultrasonic data, setting a reference cross section, reference point and window in the volume data based on the information input by a user, setting a sagittal view for measuring the NT thickness in the volume data based on the reference cross section, reference point and window, setting a plurality of slices including the sagittal view in the volume data, and forming a plurality of slice images corresponding to the plurality of slices by using the volume data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
