OPTICAL UNIT, EXPOSURE HEAD AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology to permit suppression of damaging to a translucent substrate at the boundary of lens arrays and improvement of strength of an optical unit.

SOLUTION: The optical unit includes: the translucent substrate that transmits light; the first lens array thicker than the translucent substrate; the second lens array being disposed to the translucent substrate next to the first lens array and thicker than the translucent substrate; and a supporting member supporting the first lens array and the second lens array from the opposite side of the translucent substrate across the boundary between the first lens array and the second lens array.
