<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing configured so that lubricating oil supplied to the rolling bearing easily passes through from one axial side to the other axial side. <P>SOLUTION: The rolling bearing includes: an inner ring 12; an outer ring 14; a plurality of rolling elements 16; and a retainer 20 which holds the plurality of rolling elements 16 from both axial sides so as to be capable of rolling in a state that they are arranged with intervals in the circumferential direction of the inner ring 12, the retainer including a plurality of pockets 22 enveloping and holding the rolling element 16, and a column 24 formed by mutually fitting regions between the plurality of pockets 22. A communication part 261 is formed partially in the radial direction of the column 24 between the pockets 22 adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction of the retainer 20 to make one axial side of the retainer 20 communicate with the other side to make the lubricating oil pass therethrough, and a first edge 271 at one circumferential side in an opening at the one axial side of the communication section 261 is located closer to the one axial side than a second edge 272 at the other circumferential side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
