<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output device for easily extracting a region of a rectangular imaging object desired by a user, from a captured image with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: An object extraction part of the image output device determines, as an extraction region, either a quadrangular region surrounded by a quadrangle wherein all internal angles are less than 180°and sides are constituted by 4 line-segment-like edge pixel groups indicated by edge information, or a polygonal region enclosed by a polygon wherein all internal angles are less than 180°and wherein sides are constituted by at least one line-segment-like edge pixel group indicated by the edge information, and at least one line segment located on an end part of the captured image, and clips image data of the extraction region from captured image data as image data to be output (S216). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
