<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a terminal apparatus from virus software without increasing processing loads of the terminal apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In a terminal protection system S, a server apparatus 2 communicating with a terminal apparatus 1 includes, for each terminal apparatus, a virtual terminal having a program execution means for executing an application program, and a remote operation receiving means for causing the program execution means to execute the application program according to a remote operation instruction received from the terminal apparatus 1 and transmitting an execution result of the application program to the terminal apparatus 1.
