PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stator for motors which does not involve the risk that a crossover is pulled and broken at winding to a core segment. SOLUTION: The stator includes a plurality of core segments 11, which each have a yoke part and a tooth part and are coupled in a bendable way with one another at bend joints 12 at both ends of each yoke; an insulator 15 which covers the yoke part and the tooth part of the core segment 11; winding 17 which is wound on the tooth part of the core segment 11 via the insulator 15, thereby forming a coil part and is drawn around to another core segment 11 as a crossover thereby being wound on the tooth part of another core segment 11 to form the coil part; a crossover storage groove 15x, which is provided over the overall length of the yoke part 15a of the insulator 15 covering the yoke part and passes over the bend joint 12; a crossover winding start storage groove 15y, which branches off from the crossover storage groove 15x and reaches the base of the teeth part; and a crossover winding end storage groove 15z which branches off from the crossover storage groove 15x and reaches the position of the winding end of the tooth part.
