PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problem in a conventional centering device using a contact (pressure) sensor that causes variations in the position of detection with the material of a wheel, its pneumatic pressure, or the like. SOLUTION: A wheel centering device 1 includes a pair of front and rear rollers 2 and 2 arranged in front and in the rear of a vertical line passing through the axis of a single-shaft drum 103 of a chassis dynamometer, a pair of front and rear electrically driven cylinders 5 and 6 having the rollers 2 fitted to the tips of rods 4 by means of roller holders 3, drive wheel detection sensors 7 fitted to the roller holders 3 together with the rollers 2 to detect a drive wheel 102 of a test vehicle, and a control device for controlling the drive of the pair of front and rear electrically driven cylinders 5 and 6.
