PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-cooled stoker furnace having a structure adaptable to high temperature reduction processing and also usable as a gasification furnace of a gasification melting furnace. SOLUTION: In this stoker furnace in which fixed fire grates 4 and movable fire grates 5 are alternately arranged in the longitudinal direction, the fixed fire grates 4 and the movable fire grates 5 are formed into a frame integration type while being supported in a state that their right and left both sides are penetrated through furnace body sidewalls 17, and a cooling water passage 8 for circulating the cooling water, is formed inside. The movable fire grates 5 are longitudinally moved by a driving device 14 disposed outside of the furnace, and in-furnace parts of the fixed fire grates 4 and the movable fire grates 5 are coated with a refractory 9.
