PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover member of a simple structure which prevents a foreign material from entering a space below a seat from rear side of the seat even when a seat cushion is made movable up and down to a vehicle floor. SOLUTION: A seat 1 for vehicles, in which the seat cushion is made movable up and down to the vehicle floor, includes the cover member 40, which is fixed to bridge the rear side of the seat cushion 2 and the vehicle floor F side and to close the portion that communicates the space formed between the lifted seat cushion 2 and the vehicle floor F with a rear space on this seat cushion, when the seat cushion 2 is lifted. On the cover member 40, a bent portion 44, a portion of which in its height direction bends forward along its width direction, is formed when the seat cushion 2 is lowered.
