METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PRODUCING ENERGY FROM A RENEWABLE SOURCE

A method and a system for producing energy from a renewable source are proposed in which are provided a) a biogas production phase starting from the transformation of organic substance in an anaerobic digester (2), b) a combustion phase of said biogas produced in said anaerobic digester (2) for the generation of electric energy in a co-generator (3) of electric energy and CO2, and c) a seaweed utilization phase utilizing seaweeds as organic substance to be directly fed into the anaerobic digester (2), wherein is further provided d) a continuous seaweed cultivation phase in photo-reactors (1) by means of feeding therein the CO2 produced in said co-generator (3) of electric energy and fixing said CO2 with solar energy in the form of new seaweeds with emission of oxygen. A practically zero environmental impact with production of oxygen and demolition of the produced CO2 is obtained.
