A brake caliper (1) for disc brake comprises two side walls (2, 3) defining a disc space (4) for accommodating a brake disc (15), wherein a first (3) of these side walls (2,3) comprises means for rotatably and translatably integrally fixing the caliper (1) to a vehicle, and the side walls (2,3) are connected to each other by means of a connecting structure (5), which extends astride the disc space (4). Each of the side walls (2,3) defines at least one seat (13) for accommodating at least one pad (10) having a friction surface (20) and a thrust surface (21) opposite the friction surface (20). The brake caliper (1) further comprises cooling ducts having a first outlet port (19) to generate a first partial cooling flow on the side of the friction surface (20) of the pad (10) and a second outlet port (22) different from the first outlet port (19) to generate a second partial cooling flow on the side of the thrust surface (21) of the pad (10), wherein this second partial cooling flow is different from the first partial cooling flow. |
