<p>The device has a blow mold (2) forming a hollow space. A plastic preform is formed within the hollow space. A pressurization device pressurizes the plastic preform with a medium to expand the plastic preform against a blow mold inner wall limiting the hollow space. A stretching rod extends the preform in a longitudinal direction. An opening and closing mechanism opens and closes the mold. A cleaning device (10) has cleaning elements (16, 18) for cleaning the inner wall of the blow mold, where the cleaning elements are arranged outside the mold.
