PURPOSE:To improve the flatness accuracy of a workpiece by applying an additional eccentric sliding motion to top and low bases of a lapping device. CONSTITUTION:Top base 7 and top base driving axis of a lapping device are joined by top base eccentric mounting pin 9, low base 3 and low base driving axis being joined by means of the low base eccentric mounting pin 10. The eccentric mounting pins 9, 10 are mounted to allow the center of the revolving motion of top base 7 and low base 3 to position eccentrically. This eccentric mounting enables to apply an additional sliding motion to the top and the low bases 7, 3 to allow the workpiece to give an accurate lapping. |
