PURPOSE:To simplify not only the constitution of circuit but the operation, by adding the value of compensation according to the using frequency band to the intermediate data of the square integral value and thus obtaining the input signal level. CONSTITUTION:A means is provided at the control panel 20 to set a variable that decides the environment of measurement of the reverberation characteristics, and the signal generating circuit 21 generates the test pulse P with the set pulse duration D and the frequency F. The pulse P is applied to the arithmetic circuits 16 and 22 via the speaker 12, microphone 13, A/D converter 14 and square integral network 15. The circuit 22 obtains the logarithm of intermediate data based on the output of circuit 15 and through the square integral value intermediate data arithmetic circuit 58, and the compensation value K is obtained through the compensation coefficient arithmetic circuit 54 and based on the frequency set value F of the tone birth wave P. The adder 55 obtains the logarithm relating to the value K. On the other hand, the circuit 16 samples the square integral value to obtain the reverberation characteristics. The arithmetic results of circuits 16 and 22 are supplied to the display part 19. |
