<p>There is provided a 3D display apparatus (1) comprising: a display device (8) which can display both a 2D image and a 3D image for stereoscopic viewing including a plurality of images obtained by shooting a same object from a plurality of viewing points; a 2D/3D display control device which controls the display device (8) so as to display either a 2D image and a 3D image for stereoscopic viewing; and an OSD control device which controls display of OSD information superimposed on an image displayed on the display device (8), wherein the displayed OSD information is erased after a shorter period of time when OSD information is displayed on a 3D image for stereoscopic viewing displayed on the display device (8) than when OSD information is displayed on a 2D image displayed on the display device (8). Thus, when a 3D image for stereoscopic viewing is displayed on a display device which can alternately display a 2D image and a 3D image for stereoscopic viewing, visibility at stereoscopic viewing is improved.</p> |
