PURPOSE:To reduce the access time, by switching a signal for production of a speed model curve from a servo signal to a sector servo signal before the objective track and keeping constant the initial speed at switching from speed to position control. CONSTITUTION:In a speed model producing circuit CB, a pulse C1 and a sector servo signal through an analog swtich 20 are switched before the objective track with a track crossing pulse generating circuit 34, and the speed model curve can be shaped with a function circuit 42 via a counter 36, DA converter 38, and smoothing device 40. A speed model signal from the circuit 42 and a head moving speed from a head drive linear motor LMA are subtracted 44 for speed control. |
