PURPOSE: A method for preparing a silicate-acrylic copolymer is provided to improve properties such as compressive strength, flexural strength, and abrasion resistance of a quick-drying polymer modified concrete. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a silicate-acrylic copolymer includes the steps of: heating tetraethoxysilane; mixing, based on 45~55 weight% tetraethoxysilane, 22~28 weight% 2-propenoic acid, 15~24 weight% n-butyl acrylate, 1~10 weight% glycol methacrylate, 0.1~1 weight% dodecylmercaptan, and 0.1~1 weight% azobisisobutyronitrile to prepare a first mixture; cooling the first mixture; mixing 45~55 weight% first mixture, 10~20 weight% tetraethoxysilane, 15~25 weight% n-octyltriethoxysilane, 5~15 weight% siloxane and 1~10 weight% polyoxyethylene to prepare a second mixture; heating the second mixture; cooling the second mixture to room temperature.
