Security element and its production

摘要

The device has a reflective layer in which visually recognisable characteristics are integrated in the form of patterns, letters, figures or images using laser radiation. The reflective layer has a first partial area with an interference structure and a second partial area that interact differently with the laser radiation so the modification of the reflective layer optical characteristics of one partial area produced by the laser radiation enables the characteristics to be visually recognisable. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a method of manufacturing a security element (B) and a device for implementing the inventive method (C) a date medium (D) and a continuous foil with a security element.
