PURPOSE:To prevent malfunction of a switch device, by attaching a switch freely rotatably between a return plate which moves by one reciprocation in response to the performance of record, and a switch pressing member which turns along with a tone arm, and then turning on and off forcibly the switch. CONSTITUTION:A switch 20 is attached rotatably between a return plate 12 which has a reciprocating movement in response to the record performance and a switch pressing member 16 which turns along with a tone arm 2. When the tone arm 2 is shifted to the lead-in position from the rest position, a contact 20a pressed by a pressing part 16a is detached as shown in the figure to turn on the switch 20. When the record performance is over and the arm 2 reaches the coarse lead-out part, a slide lever 19, link pawls 10 and 11 and a minor gear interlock with each other to consecutively turn a major gear 9 counterclockwise. Then the plate 12 moves right to move up the arm 2 until it returns to the rest position. Thus the contact 20a is turned off. In such a way, the switch 20 is turned on and off in an assured way. |
