The method involves storing measured datasets of a measuring device in a removable data storage. Association of the storage device and the measuring device and integration of the datasets stored at the storage device are tested when the storage device is at determined time period and the measuring device is started. A testing is performed that whether testing information of the hardware identification information stored in the data storage matches with corresponding testing information of the hardware identification information of the measuring device. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program comprising program code unit for operating a measuring device when a program is executed at a computer (2) a computer program product comprising a program code unit for operating a measuring device (3) a measuring device comprising a removable data storage for storing measured dataset. |
