Detection of type of detector of disturbance peaks in the power supply of an integrated circuit

The method involves supplying an integrated circuit to be tested with a voltage, and verifying if the voltage is sufficient for starting-up of the circuit. A parasite peak is applied on a power supply of the circuit with respect to amplitude and duration, where the amplitude of the peak is selected to protect a minimal supply voltage of different stages of the circuit to be tested. Currents consumed by the circuit before and after the peak are compared. An independent claim is also included for a system for qualifying a parasite peak detector in a power supply of an integrated circuit.
