Stimulation electrode lead

The lead (5) has a coaxial lead structure (10) with an outer supply lead (9) situated radially outwardly from and being electrically insulated from an inner supply lead (6). Two electrodes (2, 4) are provided at or near to a distal end of the lead structure. One of the electrodes (2) is situated at a distal tip of the lead structure and another electrode (4) is situated proximally from the former electrode. The inner supply lead is electrically connected to the latter electrode and the outer supply lead is electrically connected to the former electrode.
