PURPOSE: A method for preparing a positive electrode active material is provided to ensure the surface with high uniformity and small deviation and to massively manufacture a positive electrode active material with high performance. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a positive electrode active material comprises the steps of: forming a mixture containing transition metals, a first compound containing transition metals and a second compound containing lithium in an airtight container transmitting microwaves; and irradiating microwaves to the mixture to manufacture lithium transition metal oxides. The transition metal is selected from the group consisting of iron, cobalt, nickel, manganese and vanadium. |
