A capsule type medical device (1) having a substrate section (16c; 26c; 36) that includes at least a single layer substrate (36-1; 36-2; 36-3); an antenna conductor (16b; 26b; 30; 31; 32; 33; 40; 41; 42; 43; 50; 51; 52; 61; 62; 63; 64) that is arranged on and closely attached to at least one surface of the substrate section (16c; 26c; 36); a transmitting circuit (16a) that is arranged on the one surface of the substrate section (16c; 26c; 36) within an area (E1) surrounded by the antenna conductor (16b; 26b; 30; 31; 32; 33; 40; 41; 42; 43; 50; 51; 52; 61; 62; 63; 64); and a plurality of lands (L1) that are arranged to another surface of the substrate section (16c; 26c; 36), and electrically connected with the transmitting circuit (16a).
