<p>The hinge comprises two metal plates with screw holes and lips, bent around so as to accommodate an inserted pin. One or more lips (2) have a radial drilling for a screw (5) pressing against the pin (3), the drilling being countersunk in the lip when screwed right home. The drilling can be in the side of the lip towards one of the plates, and tapped, or alternatively the screw can be self-tapping. It can have a hexagonal socket head, and can fit in a drilling extending for a short distance into the pin.</p> |
