PURPOSE:To secure such a device as being excellent in abrasive resistance, by forming a torque limiter with a friction plate rotating together with a separate roller shaft as one body and a rotary member being rotatably pivoted on the said shaft and forcibly pressed to a disc surface of the friction plate in its end face. CONSTITUTION:In case of a friction roller separation paper feeder having a feed roller rotating in a paper feeding direction and a separate roller 3 being forcibly pressed to the said feed roller as sandwiching a paper passage and given a certain amount of torque in the reverse direction against the paper feeding by a torque limiter, both friction plates 11 and 12 rotating together with a shaft 10 of the roller 3 and a rotary member 7 make up this torque limiter. The rotary member 7 is rotatably pivoted on the shaft 10 and rotated for driving in a reverse direction of paper feeding by a driving source and thereby its end face is forcibly pressed to each disc surface of these friction plates 11 and 12. With this constitution, lubricating oil is no longer required and,what is more, such torque as being excellent in abrasive resistance and stable in turning moment can be secured. |
