PURPOSE: A display filter and a plasma display panel are provided to improve the transmittance of panel light by forming a transmitting unit and an absorbing unit on a base film. CONSTITUTION: A base film(10a) is arranged on a display panel. The base film includes a transmitting unit(11) and an absorbing unit(12). The transmitting unit has a constant cross section. The absorbing unit includes light absorbing materials and surrounds the transmitting unit.
