PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing piperazine dithioctate and acetyl-l-carnitine is provided to prevent easy decomposition of an active ingredient during storage and distribution. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating dermatitis, liver diseases, ischemic heart diseases, hyperlipidemia, diabetes or obesity contains 5-50 weight% of piperazine dithioctate and acetyl-l-carnitine or 5-70 weight% of pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. The thioxctate contained in the piperazine dithioctate is R-(+)-thioctic acid or S-(-)-thioctic acid. The pharmaceutically acceptable salt is hydrochloride.
