PURPOSE: A battery for external short circuit safety assurance is provided to secure safety by a temperature control of a battery by drastically lowering the temperature by absorbing heat when the temperature of a temperature increases and drastically raising the temperature when the temperature of a temperature lowers. CONSTITUTION: A battery(100) for external short circuit safety assurance includes a cell(110) including a pack or module by unit, and a thermoelectric element(120) interposed between the cells and a welding part with an external circuit. The thermoelectric element is a peltier element. The peltier element absorbs or dissipates heat at a welded part with the cells.
