PURPOSE: A vehicle head lamp is provided to efficiently radiate heat from a light emitting unit and a current control circuit by installing an stretching unit in the optical axis of the light emitting unit. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor light emitting unit(120) is fixed to a power supply unit(100). The power supply unit supplies power to the semiconductor light emitting unit. A housing unit(200) is fixed to a lamp body. The housing unit accommodates the power supply unit. A current control circuit is installed in the power supply unit. The semiconductor light emitting unit and a current control circuit are overlapped with each other in the optical axis of the light emitting unit.
