PURPOSE:To stop originals on a platen glass with a high precision for exposure by operating successively a speed reducing means, which reduces slowly the speed of a DC motor as a carrying driving source, and a stop means which stops the carrying driving system and uses an electromagnetic brake. CONSTITUTION:Plural sheet-shaped one-sided originals arranged in the order of page are placed on an original placing table 1 so that the original of the first page is turned up. These piled-up originals are separated and fed one by one from the lowest original by a feeding belt 3 and a separating belt 5, and the fed original passes a paper with Ia and is sent onto a platen glass 12 by a carrying belt 8 so that the picture surface of the original is turned down. When the rear end of the original is detected by a sensor 14, counting of the number of notched grooves 94 on a disc 93 is started, and simultaneously, such deceleration is applied that the driving speed of a motor 82 is reduced slowly, and the motor 82 whose speed becomes low is turned off after a prescribed number of grooves 94 are counted, and an electromagnetic brake 92 is turned on, and turning driving of the carrying belt 8 is stopped instantaneously. Thus, the original is positioned automatically in a prescribed position on the surface of the platen glass 12 and is set. |
