<p>In a process for the preparation of vanadium oxide catalysts, comprising vanadium oxides applied to cokes or activated carbon, residues obtained in processing petroleum which contain vanadium oxide, are processed to give from powdered to fine granular material, and after mixing with pitches or bitumen, in the presence of water if required, are moulded and the mouldings are heat-treated at from 450 to 800 DEG .</p> |
