PURPOSE: A security window using a steel wire mesh and an assembling method thereof are provided to enable a mesh made from steel wires to be firmly fixed to a frame using a simple tool. CONSTITUTION: A security window using a steel wire mesh comprises a frame member(2), a steel wire mesh(3) and an inner frame member(8). The frame member comprises a holding plane, a folded plane, a wedge protrusion, a central groove and a hanging protrusion. The steel wire mesh is coupled to the frame member. The steel wire mesh comprises a folded part, which makes tight contact with the folded surface in the holding plane. The leading edge of the steel wire mesh is placed on the wedge protrusion of the frame member. The inner frame member comprises a projection and a stepped protrusion. The projection is inserted into the central groove of the frame member. The stepped protrusion presses the folded part of the steel wire mesh while rotating. |
