Extending device for wood-veneer that comprises a chamfering unit (1) to chamfer veneer edges, a pressing apparatus (2, 3) for holding and a glueing unit. The rear edge of the veneer (5) to be extended and the front edge of the new veneer (6) are positioned by means of the pressing apparatus in such a way that the chamfering unit (1), running between them and comprising e.g. a circle saw, cuts both of the edges, after which the application of glue and pressing together follows. |
